Paul (Rusty) Inman

After high school I joined the local Air National Guard working full time as an electronic technician and ended up spending 21 years as a reservist. During that time I was able to go back to school, get a commission as a military officer, and became a pilot flying fighters and later, tankers (ugh) for the Guard.

I continued my education and received an AA from Spokane Falls Community College and then a BS in Engineering from Gonzaga University.

Upon graduation from Gonzaga I worked for The Washington Water Power Company for 7 years. I then went to work for IBM as a project manager which some how morphed into IT management. I worked 10 years with IBM and then returned to Spokane where I worked for Avista Communications and an R&D company in IT management. I spent the last two years of my career managing Spokane Public Schools computer support team. It was a great way to end a career as it gave me the opportunity to mentor and give back some of the things I had learned during my career. I retired on “leap day” (2/29) last year. Coincidently, my wife Linda retired February 29, 2000.

Linda and I have been married 32 years. We have a yours, mine and ours family with 2 boys and two girls. We have 5 grandchildren and a great grandchild on the way.

We have lived at our home on Loon Lake for the last nine years.

We are looking forward to doing more travel now that we are both retired. (And my honey-do list is a lot longer for some reason)
