Graduated from Deaconess Hospital of Nursing in 1967. Married Lee Shrontz (1964 CV grad) in 1967. Joined the Air Force with Lee and served in two exciting locations -- Laredo, Tx and Topeka, Ks. Moved to Sunnyside, Wash where we owned a Culligan Water Conditioning franchise. I stayed home with children until 1979, when I joined The faculty at Sunnyside High School, where I was the School Nurse and NAC instructor for 27 years.
We retired in Sep, 2006 and moved back to Spokane Valley. We are enjoying our retirement; spending time on the road in our motorhome, traveling some with my sister, traveling to Arizona to visit with friends. seeing the northwest, a cruise to Mexico, and traveling to the west side to see our daughter and her family and participate in their extracurricular activities. Our son and his family live in Hayden, Id., so we spend a considerable amount of time attending sporting events of our 3 grandchildren in Hayden; soccer and basketball.
